Mphatso Kumwenda hails from Mzimba, Malawi. She is an economist who is passionate about allocating adequate resources to healthcare and ensuring those resources are effectively and efficiently used. Mphatso has led an initiative aimed at motivating girls to stay in school and dare to dream big. Most recently, she interned with Population Services International working on the N'zatonse Project, which focused on increasing public awareness of family planning methods and resoures. Mphatso holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Malawi.
