Namuyamba is from Lusaka, Zambia. She completed her undergraduate degree in Industrial Psychology and Sociology at the University of Namibia. While at university, Namuyamba interned at the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) where she worked on Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS (PMTCT) and mentored local youth at the Fountain of Hope drop in center run by CIDRZ. Namuyamba is also the co-owner of a business that she started in 2008. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with friends.
