Nancy Chong was born and raised in New York City. She spent part of her formative years in Seoul, South Korea and attended the American University where she studied international studies and public health. Nancy’s experience working with D.C. Central Kitchen, Khon Kaen University, and Human Rights Watch ignited her passion to explore community public health. She was awarded the Critical Language Scholarship in 2015 to study Hindi in Jaipur, India. Before joining GHC, Nancy interned with the Maternal Health Initiative at the Wilson Center to study issues related to maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, conflict, and midwifery. In her free time, Nancy can be found at a museum or hosting her radio show, Psychedeldosa at the WVAU station.
