Health equity means having the opportunity to live a healthy life. This requires removing obstacles to health such as poverty and discrimination while ensuring fair access to clean water, sanitation, good incomes, housing and quality health care.
Natasha hails from Lusaka, Zambia. She is a passionate professional dedicated to developing policies that improve healthcare. Prior to joining GHC, Natasha was project manager for a Poverty Action research grant that focused on maternal health. She also contributed to the development of the first ever National Fire Policy in Zambia with her work with the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research. In her free time, she enjoys reading about African history and watching movies.
