Nicholas was raised in Kampala, Uganda. He worked at the Uganda Bureau of Statistics where he was responsible for monitoring and compiling the Uganda National Consumer Price Index which measures inflation in the country. He volunteered as a fundraiser and mentor at the Christian Mission Academy, a community based organization in Bakka Village. Nicholas also mentored youth in vocational skills such as art, design, and craftwork. He received a bachelor's degree in statistics from Makerere University. Prior to joining GHC, he received a postgraduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation at the Uganda Management Institute.
