Nicholas Matovu is from Kampala, Uganda. He is a public health nutritionist who has worked in both community and hospital settings. Most recently, Nicholas worked on an NIH-funded research project conducting dietary assessments, training team members, and overseeing protocol implementation with the Makerere University-Johns Hopkins University Research Collaboration. He also published a research manuscript that investigated the association between dietary intake and body mass index among newly diagnosed diabetic patients in the BMC Nutrition Journal. Nicholas holds a bacheolor’s degree in human nutrition and dietetics from Kyambogo University and a master’s degree in public health nutrition from Makerere University. In his free time, he loves reading and watching football.
