Nicole Weinard was born and raised in the USA. Before joining GHC, Nicole served in the Peace Corps in Vanuatu, an island nation in the South Pacific. There she worked on literacy development, adolescent reproductive health education, and project proposal management. Nicole was the Domestic Violence Program Lead and the Public Relations Officer for the country's Gender and Development Committee. She facilitated and managed five project proposals for various health organizations in her community. Prior to this role, Nicole lived in Turkey teaching English to a small community on the Aegean coast. She majored in anthropology and minored in sociology at James Madison University. In her free time, Nicole can be found eating pizza, exercising to work off that pizza, and contra dancing.
