Orla Murphy hails from County Cork, Ireland. Volunteering with the Irish Red Cross for over fifteen years, Orla sits on the International Advisory Group and is a First Aid and HIV Awareness Instructor in her community. In 2015 she was the inaugural Irish Youth Delegate to the United Nations, and in 2016 travelled to the Middle East and North Africa as a United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Fellow. Her previous roles include advocacy officer at UNICEF Ireland, and International Humanitarian Law Advocacy Officer at the Irish Red Cross. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and politics, a master’s degree in international public policy and diplomacy, and a postgraduate law degree from University College Cork.
