Pilirani Banda is from Zomba, Malawi. He is a co-founder at Wiseman Consultancy Firm, which offers technical support in the areas of innovative entrepreneurship, strategic leadership and staff development, project design and funding proposal development. Pilirani also helped establish the Center for Free Market Enterprise (CFME) where he works as a Program Director. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree focusing on statistics and demography from the University of Malawi. Prior to becoming a GHC Fellow, Pilirani worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Dignitas International.
