Priya Parikh hails from Fort Lee, New Jersey. She is an ambitious, optimistic, and vocal champion for children’s health rights. Prior to joining GHC, Priya worked as a Graduate Evaluation Consultant at Catholic Relief Services where she examined the impact of the Girls Agro-Investment Program (GAIN) on gender equality and women’s empowerment in Western Uganda. She also worked as a Policy Advocacy Researcher and Intern for the International Network Agency for Education in Emergencies where she researched the linkage between education and health with a focus on the space in which healthcare and education coincides. Through her work, Priya has developed strong partnerships with leading nonprofits, such as the Global Poverty Project. Priya holds a Master of Public Administration in international organizations from Columbia University. During her free time, Priya enjoys reading and singing Indian classical music.
