Rachel Carroll is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She first earned her bachelor’s degree in business in economics and marketing and then went on to complete her master’s degree in public health. Rachel has worked in countries all over the world seeking social justice and health equity. She currently lives in Kigali, Rwanda seeking to work in health development. She has worked in Kigali with a maternity clinic providing prenatal and postpartum care to vulnerable, low resource women. She assisted in providing free services to women who may otherwise not have access to quality, dignified maternity care. She also spent time in a preschool offering one on one work with kids with special needs. Rachel has a passion for creating sustainable solutions to health challenges in developing contexts.
