Born and raised in Lilongwe, Malawi, Rebecca Mzungu Saeluzika is an engineer who believes in the power of innovation and technology as tools to fight against health inequality. Prior to joining GHC, Rebecca led the team that represented Malawi at the first Global Robotics Competition in Washington, D.C. Most recently, Rebecca served as the head of ICT for Kwathu Innovation Creative Centre and led a team of 16 people. She was a runner up for a coding competition that Google funded and hosted in Malawi. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys watching soccer and listening to music.
