Hailing from Blantyre, Malawi, Rejoice Namale is a passionate advocate for youth and women’s empowerment dedicated to promoting education and adequate health services for all. Prior to joining GHC, Rejoice interned with the World Health Organization and served as the Country Focal Lead for Athena Networks’ “#WhatWomenWant” Campaign in partnership with UNAIDS. She is also the founder of Youth Arise Network which has given her the opportunity to reach over 2000 participants and present key issues within the African continent and beyond––focusing on the promotion of inclusion and equality for all. Rejoice was selected as the European Development Days Young Leader and the JCI Outstanding Young Persons of Malawi in 2019. Additionally, Rejoice was selected as a nominee for the Human Rights Prize of Peace Award. In her free time, Rejoice utilizes her social media platforms to inspire and create educational content for her Instagram series “Real Talk With Ree.”
