Health equity means addressing health according to needs and priorities. I want join the movement of young leaders passionate about global health concerns and find ways of addressing them.

Richard Nduwayezu is a physician from Rwanda. He graduated in 2016 from the University of Rwanda with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. He is passionate about social justice, quality health care, and health equity. He has served as the coordinator of Rwanda Village Concept Project, a student-run organization with the aim of improving the living standard of underprivileged communities. Richard is alumni of the 2016 class of a social medicine course in Gulu, Uganda. He is the African Regional Representative at Student Network Organization, the student branch of The Network: Toward Unity for Health, and he is currently passing on his acquired skills and experiences to future Rwandan healthcare providers an assistant lecturer of social and community medicine at the University of Rwanda.
