Title: Health System Quality Improvement Coordinator for HIV / AIDS and TB Interventions
A healthy community is able to learn, demonstrate learning and are more likely to escape poverty. I care about community because global health is an exciting possibility to improve the lives of people. It's inevitable to promote access to health care to avert countless untold stories of suffering evident in many communities today.

Ronald is from Jinja, Uganda. He worked in maternal and child health systems and partnerships between communities and local government to strengthen the health system in Uganda. Previously, Roland worked as a project assistant program officer with the Global Effort for Women Against HIV/AIDS, which aims to prevent mother to child transmission of HIV/AIDS. In addition, Ronald was a regional officer of a USAID-funded community connector that carried out the nutritional situational analysis for nine districts in northern Uganda. Ronald worked in partnership with UNICEF, supervising nine districts to ensure the effectiveness of the supplementary feeding program in the region. He holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and social administration from Makerere University and a Master of Public Health from Brac University, Bangladesh. Ronald has supplemented his education through trainings in international social welfare and health policy at Oslo and Akershus University in Norway. In his free time, he loves to play football.
