Safaa Garelnabi was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda. She is passionate about promoting health equity and strengthening health systems. As a Public Health Nutritionist, Safaa co-authored a booklet on managing diabetes through natural products and achieved a career guidance award from Brighter Monday Uganda for a presentation she delivered. Additionally, at WoMena, she served as a Research and Project Management Officer, supporting the implementation and evaluation of research on women’s health and helping with community trainings. Safaa was also an Officer with Restless Development. In her free time, she enjoys dancing and hosting social events.
