Sameer Kalarn was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Arizona State University where he pursued a bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology and a master’s degree in the science of healthcare delivery. Throughout his academic career, Sameer participated on multiple short term medical and public health initiatives in Honduras, Ghana, Zambia, and Nepal. These trips prompted his interest in improving the quality of healthcare delivery and access to healthcare for those who do not live in areas with modern healthcare infrastructure. Prior to joining GHC, Sameer analyzed clinical quality measures to improve the healthcare delivery of primary care clinics in Dallas, Texas. In his free time, Sameer enjoys traveling, photography, reading books, and watching movies.
