Stephen Christopher Vincent is from Salt Lake City, Utah. He studied English literature and German at the University of Utah. During this time, Chris also spent a year abroad at the University of Heidelberg in Germany where he developed his passion for international relations. After working with at-risk youth in a wilderness therapy program and teaching English in Spain, he completed his master’s degree in international development from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Chris focused on food security and agricultural development while also gaining experience in urban agriculture through work as a farmer at DeLaney Community Farm with the Denver Urban Gardens. Aside from volunteering at a local food bank, Chris is an avid hiker and camper who enjoys exploring the Rocky Mountains and the red rock deserts of the southwestern United States.
