Swathi is from Edison, New Jersey and attended New Jersey Institute of Technology for her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. She interned with Amnesty International USA prior to receiving her Master’s in Public Health in International Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. During her graduate studies, Swathi traveled to Jordan to work on an education and health improvement project in Jordanian public schools. Swathi enjoyed being an active member in Baltimore, and was a tutor with the Refugee Youth Project.
