Tommy grew up in Brookline and now lives in Gloucester, Massachusetts. He graduated from the College of William and Mary, where he majored in international relations and Chinese language and culture. Following graduating, Tommy worked at the Brookline Community Foundation, where he helped create and facilitate a youth grant making program. He then lived in Lesotho for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer, where he worked with the Ministry of Agriculture to help rural farmers develop small-scale agribusiness projects, and partnered with local organizations to implement a program to benefit orphans and vulnerable children. Tommy enjoys traveling, cycling, and is a Red Sox fan.
