Triffin is from Bujumbura, Burundi. He completed his university studies in Bujumbura at Université Lumière de Bujumbura, where he majored in Communication Sciences. He has been an active volunteer in the Red Cross community of Burundi since 2008 and has participated in fundraising for outreach programs in poor settings in Burundi. He founded a youth chapter of Red Cross volunteers at his university. Triffin enjoys graphic design, which he started when he was fourteen years old. He has worked as Art Director for Speed Biz Magazine, managing layout and advertising, and MAXX, a communications agency. He enjoys outdoor activities, reading, watching movies, and swimming.
