Veronica Anganile Chagunda is from Lilongwe, Malawi. She completed her Bachelor of Social Science degree majoring in political leadership at the Catholic University of Malawi. During university, Veronica interned with the British Council and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After graduation, she joined Blackmore Creative Agency, a public relations and communications agency consulting for organizations such as United Nations, Women Malawi, UNICEF and the Lake of Stars Festival. She also worked as a part time lecturer in political science and political theory at St John the Baptist DMI University in Lilongwe. In 2014, she joined Think Pink Malawi Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, as a volunteer communications coordinator. The foundation advocates for early detection means early treatment. Veronica likes to swim and solve word puzzles.
