Victoria Umutoni hails from Kigali, Rwanda. She is an enthusiastic learner who loves learning about different cultures' approaches to health. During her time in undergrad, Victoria assisted professors with their research on HIV and contraceptives methods, and she co-authored publications about postpartum IUD in Rwanda. She interned with Lutheran Services of Georgia, where she assisted with cultural orientation for newly arrived refugees. She also worked at the non-profit Clean the World Asia in Hong Kong, where she provided hygiene education to Asian and refugee families. Victoria is an avid reader, and she enjoys hiking and learning about new cultures. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University.
