Author: Wan-Ju Wu

Wan-Ju Wu is a fourth year medical student at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She received her BA in International Relations from Brown University and her MPH from Boston University, with a concentration in International Health. Prior to medical school she spent a year in Kenya working with the non-profit organization, Kisumu Medical and Educational Trust (K-MET), to develop a program targeting adolescent girls and teenage mothers. She has also worked on various projects related to TB and HIV/AIDS in South Africa, China, and Myanmar. While her focus continues to evolve she looks forward to combining her skills in clinical medicine and public health to promote women’s health outcomes in underserved parts of the world.
