Born and raised in Zambia, Wanji Banda’s passion for health equity stems from growing up in a healthcare system that was unable to provide high-quality, culturally appropriate healthcare. Wanji has spent her career rising through the ranks in various healthcare finance management roles. After attaining her Master’s in Public Health from Baylor University, she serves as the Director of Community Outreach and Partnerships Development at Elevated Co, where she partners with corporations, nonprofits, and civil scout organizations to promote and implement programs focusing on community health and well-being. Wanji also serves as the current Dallas Chapter chair for Sisters in Public Health.
