William is from Lusaka, Zambia. He graduated from the University of Zambia (UNZA) with a degree in Demography and Statistics. During his time at UNZA, he participated in various research studies and was a member of the University of Zambia Population Association (UNZAPOSA). Before graduation he worked for the Zambia Association for Research and Development (ZARD) as a Researcher and Data Analyst Intern. Upon graduation he joined the Society for Women and AIDS in Zambia (SWAAZ). After a short stint with SWAAZ, an opportunity arose to join the Zambia National AIDS Network (ZNAN) where he served for five years as the monitoring and evaluation officer. Among his responsibilities were providing capacity building, technical assistance, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation to over 200 non-governmental organizations and community-based organizations that received funding from ZNAN. William enjoys reading, the Internet, outdoor activities, travel, sports and music.
