Monica Richter is a start-up corporate and nonprofit Board Advisor and Trustee. She specializes in advising on strategy, business transformation, data-driven growth, analytical excellence, and innovation via technology and collaboration. She thrives on change, learning, and inclusive leadership.
Previously, Monica was the Chief Data Officer at Dun & Bradstreet. Globally, she was responsible for optimizing core data processes with machine learning, RPA and AI, improving data quality via best practice governance, innovating to create new data capabilities, and leading editorial and economic research teams. Prior to joining Dun & Bradstreet, Monica worked for Standard & Poor’s (S&P), where she held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Data Strategy & Operations, responsible for accelerating data strategy development and execution and improving data operations, metric-based quality, and governance. Monica lived in Europe for 18 years with a significant amount of that time spent as the Europe, Middle East and Africa Leader for S&P’s International Public Finance Practice.
Monica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Wellesley College and a MBA in Strategic Management from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. She lives with her husband, son, and daughter in New Jersey.
