In March, my co-fellow Rodrick and I helped facilitate a training of over 30 community health workers (CHWs) on CommCare, a new mobile data collection tool being rolled out across all MVP sites. CommCare provides a simple, easy-to-use case management tool for CHWs, helping them manage the enrollment, support, referral, and tracking of all clients in Mwandama. Equipped with a new smart phone (and a solar charger to keep it running), our CHWs will now be able to provide higher quality care to the over 10,000 households that they serve.
