Ange Iradukunda works closely with healthcare facilities and community partners to ensure the reliable delivery of life-saving medical products. By providing support, training, and addressing operational challenges, she strengthens trust and improves healthcare access within the communities she serves.
Outside of her current role, Ange is proud of volunteering during the COVID-19 management campaign, where she supported frontline efforts in case management and community engagement, strengthening her resilience and adaptability. She also contributed to Rwanda Biomedical Center’s cervical cancer screening campaign, directly improving women’s health by addressing barriers to participation and promoting preventive care.
In her current role at Zipline, Ange has focused on increasing facility adaptability to services through continuous engagement and effective problem-solving, contributing to 80% service utilization and expanded access to essential medical products in hard-to-reach facilities. She is also excited by her work in decentralizing child vaccination programs, enabling vaccines to be delivered directly to village-level health posts, reducing costs and travel burdens for mothers, and promoting equitable access to healthcare.
Ange is committed to advancing health equity by ensuring underserved communities have fair access to essential healthcare services. She is inspired by Paul Farmer’s quote, “The idea that some lives matter less is the root of all that is wrong with the world,” which guides her leadership and advocacy for inclusive, equitable health solutions.
