Global Health Corps’ 2025-2026 U.S. Leadership Accelerator Retreat at Pegasus Park in Dallas

Global Health Corps (GHC) is bringing a Leadership Retreat for its 2025-2026 cohort of U.S. Leadership Accelerator (USLA) fellows to Pegasus Park in Dallas, made possible by long-time funder Lyda Hill Philanthropies.

Why Dallas, Why Now
The DFW region boasts a world-class healthcare infrastructure and one of the nation’s fastest-growing job markets, but also faces persistent health disparities. GHC’s USLA program aims to close those gaps by equipping early-career public health professionals with the skills, networks, and confidence to drive change within their communities.

About the Retreat
The Leadership Retreat will serve as the first in-person convening of GHC’s 2025–2026 national cohort of 32 USLA fellows, including seven rising public health professionals working in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) region. Over the course of four days at Pegasus Park, fellows will participate in immersive workshops, strengthen their leadership skills, and build lasting connections.

Fellows will also explore Dallas’s dynamic public health landscape and deepen their understanding of the region’s unique challenges and opportunities. The retreat will include a public panel featuring prominent voices in Dallas’s public health sector, along with a reception to foster meaningful ties between GHC fellows, staff, and local leaders across the DFW area.

A Shared Commitment to Leadership
Lyda Hill Philanthropies, a long-time supporter of GHC’s mission, is known for funding bold, science-driven solutions with lasting impact. Their support for this year’s retreat reflects a shared belief in the power of investing in people as a pathway to systems-level change. Located at the intersection of biomedical innovation and social impact, Pegasus Park provides an inspiring setting for fellows to learn from one another and engage with cross-sector leaders working to advance health equity in Dallas and beyond. GHC is grateful to Lyda Hill Philanthropies for helping make this important convening possible and for their ongoing commitment to cultivating compassionate, systems-oriented public health leadership.
