Prior to joining GHC, Sarah worked with Save the Children International whose vision is a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development, and participation. She led different roles including, HR director for Uganda Country office, Global HR Business Partner and her last role was Regional Head of Employee Relations and Reward supporting 12 countries in the East and Southern Africa Region.
She brings 14 years of senior management experience and HR leadership working in the International NGO and banking industry, 7 of which she held HR Director/Head roles.
Over her professional life, Sarah has received three HR awards including the Prudential Best HR Practices Survey 2021 Award where staff rated Save the Children International, Uganda highly in the thematic area of Workplace, Culture, and Environment out of 500 participating organizations, an HR Excellence Award by Human Resource Association of Uganda (HRMAU) which she has received twice in 2017 and 2021.
She is a Chartered HR Practitioner with Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (UK), holds a BA in Economics and a Master of Business Administration. She enjoys traveling, singing and reading books.
