Zita is a native of Lusaka, Zambia and completed her undergraduate studies at the Copperbelt University where she majored in accounting. While in university, she interned at Zambian Breweries as a finance assistant. In addition, Zita worked on outreach programs where she helped educate communities on health issues such as HIV/AIDS. She also served on the yearly organizing committee of the Copperbelt University beauty pageant that raised money to fund community programs.
