Prior to joining GHC, Ariel was a Program Analyst with the Office of Evaluations and Inspections (OEI) with the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General. At the OEI, she worked on evaluations on COVID-19-related issues impacting HHS programs, including a review of front-line hospital staff experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, Ariel taught courses in public health and epidemics with the Duke Talent Identification Program and diversity and inclusion, and human resources management with the University of Texas at Dallas. Competitively selected to participate in the Archer Graduate Fellowship program, Ariel has also interned with the Sabin Vaccine Institute as a member of their resource development and grassroots advocacy programs. She graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a Ph.D. in Public Affairs, the University of Notre Dame with an MS in Global Health, and Oral Roberts University with two BS in Biology and Philosophy.
Fun fact: Ariel loves to knit and drinks coffee like a Gilmore. On any given Saturday, you’ll find her in a local bookstore finding her next favorite read.
