Knowing that my advocacy in the field of sexual and reproductive health can positively impact the life and health of one, two, or a hundred young women motivates me every day.

Ramatoulie was born and raised in Banjul, The Gambia. She moved to St.Paul, Minnesota to complete her undergraduate studies at the College of Saint Catherine, majoring in biology and French. Ramatoulie received her master's degree in public health at the University of Minnesota. During her studies, she returned to the Gambia to volunteer with Starfish International, a girls empowerment program, where she taught a class on sexual and reproductive health. Prior to joining GHC, Ramatoulie was an HIV/AIDS medical case manager with Open Cities Health Center, a non-profit community health clinic in St. Paul. She also volunteers as co-director of Healthyouth's Gambia HIV Prevention. In her free time, Ramatoulie enjoys learning new languages, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
